- Description: Far along the wandering roads of Southern France, with little more than the twinkle of vineyard homes below, the evening sky shines brighter than all the lights in Paris. The locals have a name for it - mille d'etoiles - adding a layer of romance to the already shiny, pristinely ordered display. Our Million Stars Hostess Chair is a crisp mix of traditional comfort and classic design, fine upholstery and laid back style. The gently scaled oval back is thumb-studded with antique brass tacks, then anchored by carved lumbar brackets to the solid cedar wood base. While the tufted Super Comfort seat is wrapped in Oatmeal Linen and mirror matched with the back. Graceful bow-pad arms are set at a comfortable 25" height to slide beneath most standard dining tables. Paired best with French wine and good company.

SFDS-018-11-36$537.90Stanley European Farmhouse Terrain Captain's Fluted Edge Mirror$537.90Description
One of the many privileges of rising through the ranks at sea is the hard-fought honor of commanding a slightly larger, well-appointed stateroom. And although I doubt most seafarers put as much energy into furnishing their living quarters as they do into running their ship, certain impractical comforts, like crystal, mirror and glass, are particularly prized. After all, when you're a thousand miles from shore, even the unimpressive can become precious. Fortunately, our Captain's Fluted Edge Mirror is anything but ordinary. Capped on all sides with stylized photo corners, the silhouette is decorative without calling attention to itself. Rounded inset mirror is channel set for stability. And multiple hanging hooks offer the flexibility for vertical or horizontal placement - depending on the size of your stateroom.
SFDS-018-11-06$1,204.50Stanley European Farmhouse Terrain Belgian Cross Huntboard$1,204.50Description
Awarded in recognition of loyal, meritorious and uninterrupted service, the honorable Belgian Cross is one of the highest military honors in Europe. Seems a fitting enough mantle for our Belgian Cross Huntboard, which was styled to mimic the pristinely crossed swords forged into the medal itself. Crafted in iron and softened with slats of hand-polished cedar, the Belgian Cross Huntboard is a throwback to centuries-old European craftsmanship. The rugged, yet smooth support braces are studded with stacked disk trim details reminiscent of pieces in the Belgian Royal Military Academy. Double keyhole drawers are deep enough for stashing silver serving platters without feeling stuffy or overscaled. And the asymmetric open shelves make a perfect spot for urns and other large collectibles, or perhaps a family crest.

Of all the wonders France has given us, none are as universal as the words popularized by Charles Messier, who in the late 1700s became the first astronomer to name galaxies, supernovas and nebulae. His work, like that of all scientific, cultural and artistic pioneers, lives on to this day. And, for those intimately familiar with his contribution, the shape of an orb, a comet or an astrological marvel will forever bear his imprint. It's a dreamy notion, for sure, and one in keeping with our alluringly overt Proven
SFDS-018-11-05$1,864.50Stanley European Farmhouse Terrain Campagne Cabinet$1,864.50Description
Picture a steaming basket of warm, yeasty bread still fresh from the oven, or a glistening platter of roast chicken in full view of the centuries old lavender garden and you'll have a hard time going back to paper plates and Wonder bread. C'est la vie. And, c'est la reason why we created pieces like this. Our Campagne Cabinet could have been plucked from any Provenal home, complete with its bead-front doors and delicately rustic corner details. Although inspired for use in the kitchen, most American homes find our Campagne Cabinet works best as the base of an entertainment unit, either alone or as the support to our companion L'Acrobat Open Air Shelf. Two sets of double doors open out on center to reveal a hidden surge suppressor for all your electronics, along with a moveable shelf. Glass front doors are also available. Upper drawers house remote controls, spare DVDs or well-worn guidebooks of the south of France. Adjustable feet complete the contemporary reimagining of this time-honored classic.
SFDS-018-11-83$434.50Stanley European Farmhouse Terrain Artisan's Apprentice Bar Stool$434.50Description
It takes a special kind of person to choose to become an "apprentice." A formal learner. A professional trainee. It's not the kind of job you sign up for when your ultimate goal is to make your way to the top of some corporate structure. Instead, apprenticeship appeals to those with true passion, genuine grit and deep appreciation for their craft. Learning, it seems, is goal enough. In that vein, we present our Artisan's Apprentice Barstool. Drawing its cues from the classic schoolhouse chairs of the 1950s, ours takes on a worldly flair with curled iron work, exposed rivets and an integrated belly band footrest. The ample 16" diameter seat is hand-polished to bring out the Dutch white cedar's innate glow. And the open design on the lower leg both grounds and lightens the otherwise architectural look. Perfect for morning coffee, casual entertaining, or plying an artisanal trade of your own.
SFDS-018-11-60$379.50Stanley European Farmhouse Terrain Fairleigh Fields Guest Chair$379.50Description
If you've ever sat atop a thoroughbred, you undoubtedly experienced the odd realization that something as regal and empowering as a horse's saddle is actually one of the least comfortable perches one could ever sit in. Too often, that same scenario holds true with dining chairs. Well no more. We crafted our engagingly aristocratic Fairleigh Fields Guest Chair to cushion you in comfort from the "bottom" up. Supported across the back with bridle-like bowed slats, the curved design cradles your back and shoulders with smooth support. Trim, peg-style legs continue the curve into the floor. All in support of the double-padded, antique brass-rimmed SuperComfort seat.
SFDS-018-11-32$1,644.50Stanley European Farmhouse Terrain Farmer's Market Table$1,644.50Description
If the organic scratch and bustle of daybreak on the farm has taught us anything, it is that even the most dirt-caked chores, when performed with clarity and joy, are among the most beautiful tasks on earth. It's that same polished-yet-earthy contrast that led to our Farmer's Market Table. Scalloped in a pattern pulled from the blaze red curves of a rooster's comb, this well-crafted heritage piece is as relaxed as a long drink of water on a country afternoon. Finished in the French style, both the apron and the edges of the generously scaled top seem to flirt with the sturdy, bun foot legs. Elegant Dutch white cedar is unexpectedly lighthearted, and precision matched to enhance the natural swirls of the multi-layered grain. A finishing grid work top recalls a an old pasture fence, and helps conceal the removable leaf when in use.
SFDS-018-11-34$1,314.50Stanley European Farmhouse Terrain Winemaker's Tasting Table$1,314.50Description
As any good vintner knows, half the enjoyment of a given wine is in the ritual of its presentation. That's why in vineyards across the country, tasting tables like this one are carefully arranged in a secluded part of the winemaker's cask room, offering a select few the chance to heighten an already magical experience. And whether you use it for serving drinks, sharing cocktails or just for casual gatherings and entertaining, our Winemaker's Tasting Table is sure to bring the same level of import to the activities in your own home. Carved to emulate a continuous disk of solid Dutch white cedar, the generous 42" top delivers an unexpected bit of drama to contemporary spaces. The stave-like lower supports recall the iron barrel bands used to support old oak casks, complete with vintage-look rivet rows on the base, center band and apron. Curved metal feet and hand-rubbed finish complete the lost-in-time look.
SFDS-018-11-51$1,424.50Stanley European Farmhouse Terrain L'acrobat Open Air Shelf$1,424.50Description
Introducing the first etagere to stand traditional interior decor on its head. Literally. Our L'Acrobat Open Air Shelf is so flexible, it's almost hard to find enough categories to describe it. Standing at a 90 degree angle from the wall, it serves as an elegant, neo-traditional room divider. Position it behind a sofa or under a bank of stairs and you have a European-inspired open shelving unit. Rearrange the six removable shelves and it becomes a contemporary bar-cum-media center. Lift it onto a companion piece, like our perfectly proportioned Campagne Cabinet, and you've got a breezy new twist on the classic entertainment armoire. Or flip the entire unit over--with the "crown" molding along the floor--for a stylish flat-panel television surround. Not bad for one multipurpose unit. Fully finished on all sides for maximum flexibility. In hand-rubbed iron and selectively harvested Dutch white cedar.
